Operation

Operation of the Bipes Automotive Portable MP3 Adapter couldn’t be simpler. Plug the audio cable into your iPod or other portable MP3 player. Turn the ignition switch to position 1 or 2. Turn off your head unit. Adjust audio volume and tone from your player.

To listen to the radio, tape, or CD, just turn the head unit back on. Sound is muted for a few seconds while the adapter switches from MP3 to head unit source material.

The MP3 adapter draws virtually no current from you car battery when not in use.

Note: No stereo balance or fader control is provided when playing MP3 source.
